An old Cherokee native American variety, pre-1890. Beautiful, deep dusky purple pink color, Incredible, often described as superb flavored and outrageously popular for this reason alone. Very large sized fruits. Staking variety. As with all very old heirlooms, it can be a bit more prone to cracking than some of the newer varieties, but the old fashioned flavor makes extra effort worthwhile.
