After a busy seedling sale and first year of having a kid-grown farm-stand, The Green Thumb Kids will be working hard over the winter to prepare for the 2018 Seedling Sale this spring. Follow us on Facebook for the details as they emerge and we hope to see you in the new year!
Growing kids, growing food. It’s what we do here.
This farm stand is 100% operated by four kids. Hours are 12-7 daily. Usually it will be kid supervised but often it will work on the “honor box” system.
Everything you see is seeded by them, watered, nurtured, fertilized and harvested by young (freshly washed) hands.
Currently available: Squash, tomatoes, onions, shallots and local honey from Kainen and Papa’s hive business.
LOCAL CORN AVAILABLE BEGINNING SATURDAY, SEPT 9!
UPDATE: FARM STAND NOW CLOSED FOR 2017 SEASON. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN NEXT SUMMER/FALL WHEN WE REOPEN!
Another seedling sale has come and gone! We would like to thank everyone for taking part and making Green Thumb Kids your choice for locally grown garden seedlings. We hope to see you all again in the spring of 2018!
