Catnip

Now, if you grow catnip, you won’t necessarily attract cats – but you might.  Our cat Pebbles is the one pictured, lying by his favourite plant.  Not a bad thing and he didn’t eat or ruin the plant.  He only slept by it.  So we were still able to harvest the leaves for what we wanted them for – and that is the most relaxing sleep inducing tea ever!  If neighbourhood cats are a problem in your area, try making a wire cage around this plant to deter unwelcome felines.
